You will need to have 2-6 years PQE as well as Serious Injury experience as you will be running your own multi-track caseload that will consist of files such as brain injury, spinal injury, amputation and fatal claims. You will also be running a relatively small caseload compared to other firms that specialise in Serious Injury, the reasoning behind this is to ensure that your clients will be receiving the most personal and thorough service.
Emphasis is placed on client care and as a result you will be visiting clients face to face where you can. This means that there is less expectation to be in the office, you will have the autonomy and flexibility to work in a way that suits you.
You will also need a keen interest in business development. You will be at first running claims from other offices as well as claims out of the Midlands, the long term goal however is to have all claims coming from the Midland regions.
The firm has many accreditations, and they are not just limited to those relating to clients, they are also every year accredited by ‘investors in people’. Some of the benefits they offer include, but not limited to, enhanced maternity and paternity leave, 4 % employer pension contribution, support to gain further qualifications, 4x death in service cover. Salary will be £60,000 DOE plus a quarterly bonus.
To top it off the interview process is nice and slick, 2 stages with the first virtual and the 2nd face to face. They are also relaxed. No case studies, no grilling, just a nice conversation about what both parties are looking for.
