SEO & Optimisation Lead

Norwich - Hybrid

CloudScope are currently seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented SEO & Optimisation Lead to drive our client’s digital optimisation strategy. As a leader in the construction and renovations industry, they are committed to enhancing organic search visibility, conversion rate optimisation (CRO), and user experience (UX) across the diverse brand product portfolio.

The Role:

  • Developing and implementing data-driven SEO and CRO strategies to improve organic search ranking, website traffic, and lead generation.
  • Leading a dedicated team of a UX Designer and Digital Optimisation Executive, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Managing an SEO agency to ensure timely delivery of organic search and UX improvements.
  • Managing the SEO budget and channel forecasting, ensuring optimal resource allocation aligned with business objectives.
  • Crafting compelling content that resonates with target audiences and drives conversions.
  • Overseeing on-site optimisation initiatives, including A/B testing, multivariate testing, and technical SEO best practices.
  • Conducting data analysis and translating insights into actionable recommendations for improving website performance and user experience.
  • Providing strategic guidance and thought leadership on SEO, CRO, and UX trends and best practices.
  • Championing continuous improvement of internal processes for efficient and effective execution of optimisation activities.
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders, including the Biddable Media Lead, Lead Web Developer, and wider marketing, sales, and customer service teams to ensure strategic alignment with business goals.
  • Staying updated on the latest developments in the SEO, CRO, and UX landscape and adapting strategies accordingly.

The Candidate:

  • Proven success in a similar leadership role within SEO, CRO, or a related field.
  • Desirable: A BSc/BA in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
  • Proficiency in SEO and CRO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, A/B testing platforms (e.g., AB Tasty), and other SEO analysis tools.
  • Experience in managing and optimizing website content and technical SEO elements.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute long-term optimization plans.
  • An appetite to learn about the different products and processes in the company shaping customer engagement and conversion online.
  • Prior business listings management on Google My Places, Apple Maps, and Bing Maps is desirable.
  • Prior experience working in Email or Digital PR is desirable.
  • High integrity and a desire to create and inspire projects to be proud of.
  • A healthy sense of humour and a belief that the working environment should be an enjoyable and challenging place to be.
