My client is an exciting high growth Technology business within the e-commerce software sector, with a focus on proving a POS system to independent retailers within the Cycle, Equestrian, Lifestyle, fashion and Outdoor sectors.

Alongside the software products, my client also offers Digital Marketing Services such as managed Google Shopping Campaigns, Email Newsletters, Email Automations and On-going Design Services delivered by their very own design team based in the Manchester Offices.

Due to ongoing growth, we have an exciting role for an SEO Executive to join a successful team in Ulverston, Cumbria. As part of the marketing team, you will help embark on a journey to shape the future of retail through effective SEO practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to increase website visibility and rankings on major search engines.
• Build positive relationships with clients, delivering regular updates and reports showing the value and impact of work completed.
• Collaborate with clients to optimise website content, including blog posts, product descriptions, and landing pages.
• Perform on-page optimisation, including written content, technical SEO, and site structure improvements.
• Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify valuable opportunities for organic traffic growth.
• Monitor and analyse website performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms, making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, search engine algorithms, and industry best practices.

Essential Skills and Competencies

• 2 years experience in SEO with a track record of improving organic search performance
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to write optimised content for ecommerce websites
• Experience using SEO tools, such as SEM Rush, AHRefs, Moz or SE Ranking
• Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors
• Competent with GA4 and Google Search Console
• Able to perform SEO website audits and implement technical SEO fixes
• Uncompromising attention to detail
• Highly organised and able to work to deadlines
• Capable of learning and understanding new software and systems quickly
