SEO Content Executive

An award-winning agency in Altrincham is on the lookout for a talented SEO Content Executive. Their clients range from small, local businesses to international companies.

You live and breathe content. Writing is your drive, and you probably love sitting down with a good book too. You're curious about the world around you and can write about anything, making it sound interesting and intriguing. You're capable of switching between tones of voice and writing as someone's ghost, knowing how to speak to a variety of different audiences.

Skills & Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in an SEO focused content role
• You will be adept in writing content, conducting your own research, competitor gap analysis, and be able to report on the performance of the content created.
• Ability to work within a team to deliver results that align with client's KPIs
• Strong commercial awareness
• Familiar with common CMS such as Shopify, WordPress, and Magento
• Experience creating and writing well-researched, engaging content
• In-depth knowledge of Google Analytics and Search Console
• Proficient in using tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Frase and Data Studio
• Understanding of how to report on SEO performance and communicate results with stakeholders
• Able to manage your workflow and prioritise tasks
• Strong communication skills with clients and internal teams

Preferred Qualities

• Experience in acquiring links and spotting link opportunities
• Experience working within an agency, but not essential
• Knowledge of PR tools such as Roxhill, BuzzStream, Cision, etc.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JS
• Experience working on large e-commerce websites
• Understanding of how SEO interacts with other marketing channels, such as email, PPC and Paid Social

If you're successful, you will report to the Head of SEO and have a progression plan in place from week one to support your growth both personally and professionally.
