We are seeking a dynamic person with experience and passion to join our team of youth workers. We are looking for someone familiar in working both one-to-one and in group settings, who wants to make a difference for young people experiencing adversity and difficulties in their life. You will work across the borough supporting young people in a range of settings.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our successful youth service, providing targeted youth support to some of our most vulnerable young people to overcome adversity and challenges in their life and helping them to achieve the best outcomes.

This Senior Youth Worker role will be focussed on providing additional capacity in the Youth Service, providing targeted support to vulnerable young people, strengthening relationships with our partners and working with family hubs.

We are looking for someone with:

· Previous experience of working with young people 11-25 on a paid or voluntary basis in an Educational or Leisure setting.

· Knowledge of problems that young people face on day-to-day basis.

· Understanding of Youth Work practices.

Candidates must possess an enhanced Children's Disclosure and Barring Check.
