The Union of Shop, Distributive and Allied Workers is one of the UK’s largest trade unions.

A vacancy exists for a Senior Website Administrator based at the Union’s Head Office.

The principal duties are: under the general direction of the Head of Department and Publications Officer, to develop, update and maintain the Union’s website and assist in the planning and co-ordination of website projects and email marketing.

The successful applicant will possess: knowledge of the latest web platforms, Website Content Management Systems and Email Management Systems and keep up-to-date with digital trends; knowledge of analytics systems and experience of monitoring and evaluation of effectiveness of website and email activity including Google Analytics; knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and Parallels; the ability to proofread for style, format, and grammar; well-developed planning and organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines; the ability to use creativity in making recommendations about new ideas, new content and improvements to the website and e-comms.
