Our learning and development team are looking for a Senior Trainer to their team. This role can be based anywhere in the UK as it is mostly remote based with travel involved to our regional offices.

Your role will include design and delivery of sales skills, customer service and soft skills training to enable co-members to reach their full potential, both personally and professionally.

The Role:

As a Senior Trainer, you will be aligned to the L&D Business Partner team to create learning solutions based on identified business needs. You will be able to work from home two – three days per week, with an expectation that you will be delivering in person training on the others. Couse delivery is in person, at a key Reed location, or virtually, through MS Teams. Key Reed locations are:

  • Reed offices (typically London, Birmingham and Manchester, with potential travel to others)
  • Head office N900, Northampton - once or twice per month
  • The Reed Business School, the Cotswolds - occasional travel

What you'll be doing:

  • Deliver industry leading face to face and virtual training
  • Ensure that the highest standards are maintained when delivering any training course
  • Work with the L&D Business Partners to design and develop learning programmes that are relevant, effective, and beneficial to the success of co-members
  • Coach team members to help them improve in their identified development areas
  • Partake in regular ‘competency observations’ to continuously develop yourself and other team members
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders across the business • Ensure that our agreed L&D strategy (including all training offered to our co-members) is effectively communicated within the business
  • Support and challenge co-members before, during and after training sessions • Ensure that co-members are able to provide fair, open, and honest feedback for training sessions
  • Utilise Co-member feedback to monitor trends and make improvements to our training offering
  • Adopt internal marketing tools to network and drive engagement across the business Reed Company Confidential
  • Maintain a consistent diary, ensuring that co-members at all levels have regular access to relevant training courses
  • External knowledge and research of L&D trends and facilitation technique

The successful candidate will:

  • Previous 360 recruitment experience, managing a successful desk
  • Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to deliver a range of training
  • Exceptional presentation skills
  • Confident, articulate, and clear communication at all levels
  • Open and approachable
  • Knowledge of MS packages: Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Email
