Senior Town Planner

Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be working with an independent national planning consultancy in Cardiff who are looking to expand its team through the appointment of a Senior Town Planner.

This is an exciting opportunity to progress your career and assist in the delivery of exceptional planning services across various sectors, including education, energy, residential, retail, major mixed-use and regeneration schemes. Our client acts for several high-profile clients, including some of the country's major land developers, contractors, universities, housebuilders and retail operators!

Requirements

The successful Senior Town Planner will need to have good knowledge of planning practice, legislations and have a keen eye for detail. You will be able to drive projects forward pro-actively, with a can-do attitude and provide first rate support and strategic advice to senior members of the team.

Requirements to apply for a Senior Town Planner role?

-RTPI degree or similar relevant qualification

-MRTPI or working towards it

-Suitable experience for a Senior Town Planner level role

-Good organisational skills and the ability to manage time and multiple projects effectively

-Strong communication skills (verbally and in written form)

-Good understanding and knowledge of the planning system
