Job Role: Senior Test & Development Engineer
Location: Warwickshire

Shift:39hrs Monday - Thursday 07:30 - 16:30 / Friday 07:30 - 12:30
Salary: Salary subject to experience

The Company:

The Company is a leading component manufacturer and supplier, specialising in the machining, assembly and test of a number of product ranges for the compressor, energy, and electrification markets.

Job Role Responsibilities:

Working on the test and development of the projects they have to ensure they achieve the very best performance, reliability and cost to make the products desirable to their customers from their sectors. Working from R&D through to production on a range of different products.

The Candidate:

  • Develop and implement functional test solutions that satisfy the customer's product test requirements.
  • Implementation activities include system integration, software coding and debugging, test system build support, installation, user training, and start-up support.
  • Test performance characterization includes test coverage, programming/calibration functions, automation, repeatability, reliability, safety, ergonomics, and supportability.
  • Possess good programming skill with at least one programming language like C++, LabView, and others.
  • Strong in circuit and test specification analysis and be able to develop technical expertise quickly when exposing to different functional test requirement like Environment Stress Screen (ESS) test, PCBA level functional test, High Level Assembly (HLA) functional test and others.
  • Expert in handling and remotely control the measurement instrument like Digital Multimeter (DMM), Oscilloscope, Controllable Power Supply, LCR meter and other measurement instrument.
  • Possess strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Demonstrated technical leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Work closely with the R&D, Production, Quality, Engineering, and Production Engineering teams.
  • Create test design documentation including test instructions, specifications, drawings and verification plans.
