Basic - £18 per hour/£37,440 per annum + bonus and Saturdays paid as extra as and when required.

40k + package overall

Monday to Friday - 8.00am to 5.00pm (40 hour working week)

Our client, a 4x4, sports and prestige vehicle specialist, is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Technician/Workshop Foreman

A leader in the commercial vehicle styling sector, their brand is now synonymous with transforming pick-up trucks and utility vehicles into vehicles with outstanding kerb appeal.
They also have their own range of equestrian vehicles and a diverse range of seat conversion product options.

The job:

- Raising job cards and handing out and supervising jobs to three Technicians
- Assisting Technicians with jobs
- QC every job after completion including road tests
- Monitoring Technician efficiencies
- Ordering parts/consumables for jobs/stock
- Allocating parts to stock by bin number and posting to DMS
- Workshop loading
- Invoicing parts and labour ensuring all items included to customer or internal
- Cleanliness and tidiness of workplace
- Health and safety of employees and fire safety duties
- Updating SOS report with correct status daily
- Workshop equipment is correctly maintained and in good working order
- Develop new talent in the department and execute training plans

The successful candidate will have had experience of parts and would also be a skilled technician. Our client would see the job as a working foreman type role with 60% of their time being productive which includes QC. Must be a team player and be used to getting stuck in and gain job satisfaction by doing the job well.
