TPF Recruitment is recruiting for a Tax Senior Manager to join a fantastic firm of chartered accountants in Worthing, West Sussex. Our client is a multi-cited international company who specialise in helping people with tax, estate and financial planning. Their tax team is growing to support the thriving financial planning business, both in the UK and internationally. The team currently undertakes high-end income and capital tax planning work and compliance for HNWI, internationally mobile individuals, and Trusts. As a Personal Tax Senior, you will manage your own client base, both from a reviewing and preparing capacity and there will also be the opportunity to work with senior members of the team to deliver advisory work. 


The taxation team is growing to support the thriving financial planning business, both in the UK and overseas. The team currently undertakes high-end income and capital tax planning work and compliance for HNWI, internationally mobile individuals, and Trusts. The incoming Senior manager will need to work closely with the heads of taxes, on a broad range of income tax, IHT, and CGT projects and compliance work. This will often involve residence and remittance basis queries, as our client offers financial planning assistance to UK expats worldwide from their 8 offices around the globe.


Requirements

As a key member of the team, strong personal tax technical knowledge will be required, as well as excellent communication and management skills. This is a client-facing role and there will be a requirement to support more junior members of the team, as well as assist in client advisory with the financial planners. The role will be split between compliance, where you will manage your own allocated client base, and advisory. As a Senior manager, you will be expected to help drive the growth and vision of the tax team.


Essential Criteria:

 

  • CTA qualified
  • Strong leadership and personnel management skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Word and advanced Excel
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams/Video Calls
  • Proven experience in forming and maintaining client relationships
  • Excellent analytical and time management skills with attention to detail


Desirable Criteria:

 

  • 7 years experience within a tax role 
  • 2 years post-qualification experience
  • Knowledge of non-UK domiciled taxation matter 




Benefits

£65,000 - £85,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable. A highly competitive benefits package is also on offer.


The role is based at our Head Office in Worthing although we are flexible on location and therefore, this role could be based in our other offices in London, Exeter, or Cheltenham. Knowing our Head Office is in Worthing, it is important to bear in mind and understand that you may be required to travel to Worthing from time to time. We currently operate an agile working policy providing flexibility in terms of office hours and homeworking. This role is full-time (36.25 hours per week) but we are happy to talk about flexible working
