Rate Of Pay: £11.50
Shift Patterns: 33-44 hours per week
Information about the Role:
Working as a Senior Support Worker at Marske Hall your duties will include the following:
- Providing physical support which may include helping with household tasks and personal care.
- Providing emotional support for an individual and at times their families.
- Maintain the hygiene, dignity, health, and safety of service users at all times.
- Encouraging and supporting the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
- Teaching life skills, such as shopping, using public transport and paying for bills.
- Assist in the design and administration of an evaluation of the care standards and care service provision.
- If applicable, assist in the administration of medication.
- Encourage a model of self-care and service user rehabilitation.
- Evaluate care plans and standards of care competence.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the standards required by legislation related to the registration of the service.
- In addition to these tasks, may at times be asked to carry out other reasonable duties as required by the service or manager.

Marske Hall, a 17th century Manor House stands proudly in the beautiful village of Marske-By-The-Sea, Redcar. Close to the local promenade and beaches and with extensive gardens Marske Hall has been purposely adapted to ensure the people we support can live and active and full life. With 30 bedrooms across 2 floors Markse Hall has retained many of the original features of the Manor house. With support from our dedicated staff people can enjoy this wonderful building and our gardens with BBQ area as well as enjoying activities out in the wider community. Marske Hall supports adults with physical disability or
long-term neurological conditions including:
- Physical disabilities
- Complex physical needs, including diabetes
- Epilepsy
- Hearing impairment and deafness
- Strokes
- Cerebral palsy
- Acquired brain injuries
- Motor-neurone disease
- Multiple sclerosis
- Speech impairment
Necessary Experience or Qualifications to work as a Senior Support Worker:
- Someone who has a real passion for caring and helping people.
- Confident in Medication Administration
- 6-months experience of working as a Senior Support Worker.
- NVQ/QCF Level 3 or willing to work towards
- Ability to work on shift/rota pattern.
- Have the right to the work in the UK
