Senior Sous Chef
We are looking for talented Senior Sous Chefs to join our team here , helping to run the kitchen in both our Glasshouse and Stables restaurants.
The restaurants are very different in terms of size and concept, The Glasshouse boasting eight live cooking stations where the chefs will prepare individual dishes to suit our guests’ taste. It’s a celebration of international cuisine, from meat cooked on the robata grill to fresh pasta, salads and speciality Asian and Tandoori delicacies.
The Stables is our relaxed family dining restaurant, with views across the golf course and an emphasis on homemade, wholesome and wholehearted food. It’s all about good provenance, from hand-reared meat to verdant plant-based feasts using ingredients from our Walled Garden.
You should have previous experience of leading, motivating and developing a large team of chefs and be ready to take on the challenge of running a busy kitchen operation.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential:
NVQ 1 & 2 or equivalent
Strong leadership, motivational and teamwork skills
Planning and Time Management
A flexible attitude
Experience in all relative disciplines
Excellent communication skills including written and spoken English language
Artistic abilities
Must Have fine Dining Experience
