Senior Sourcing Specialist
Norwich
£22.50 per hour
Full Time Contract ( 3 months)

Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Senior Sourcing Specialist in Norwich. This is a contract without a scope for extension working full time hours.

The job:

  • Strategically review the organisation's commodities expenditure and support the development and implementation of a strategy and sourcing plan
  • Co-ordinate a cross-functional view of business requirements through working with a broad range of stakeholders
  • Develop an expert role in commodities and provide professional advice and guidance to appropriate Chief Officers & service managers
  • Using current market knowledge and appropriate procurement techniques, lead virtual teams in procurement activity including contracting, supplier development and contract management
  • Support and execute procurement plans, which deliver the strategic objectives of the business, undertaking the purchase of appropriate goods/services


The candidate:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in public procurement
  • Experience dealing with NEC4 contracts is essential
  • Experience dealing with JCT contracts is desirable
  • Experience in managing the public procurement process, both via frameworks and via open tendering
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
