Role:               Senior Services and Development Lead

Based:            South-East London

Salary:            £41,000 - £44,000

Start Date:      ASAP

Duration:        Permanent

Hours:             Full Time – 35 hours (Hybrid working)

Our client, the UK’s leading stalking authority, whose mission is to reduce the risk and prevalence of abuse, aggression, and violence are looking for a Senior Services and Development Lead to join their team.

The role will include providing, delivering, and developing the charity’s operational projects, ensuring that the service has maximum impact.

Synopsis of duties:

  • Providing effective senior management and oversight of operational activity
  • Providing effective line management to managers and team leaders
  • Supporting the Director to identify any development opportunities and lead on implementations
  • Providing oversight in all areas of service delivery, ensuring that the service is delivered to the highest standard and best practice
  • Responsible for managing multiple projects and ensuring service responsibilities, project deliverables and reporting requirements are in line with the approved budget
  • Developing strong relationships and working collaboratively with external agencies, to ensure that service users get the best possible support
  • Acting as the safeguarding lead for services and working alongside the director to ensure the safety staff and service users
  • Supporting staff and volunteers with highly complex cases
  • Supporting with the delivery of stalking training
  • Supporting the Director with funding bids

Essential Requirements:

  • Must have a high level of VAWG knowledge and experience of working within VAWG services at a managerial level
  • Must have senior management experience, including the line management of staff and volunteers, including target setting and delivering appraisals
  • Must have experience implementing new services and implementing improvements to existing services
  • Must have experience representation an organisation as a senior representative
  • Must have experience delivering training courses and presenting materials
  • Must be very adaptable to change, a quick learner and have a high level of energy, being able to take full control of projects
  • An enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months/on the update service
