Our client, an innovative digital marketing agency, is currently recruiting for a commercially minded, ambitious Senior SEO Manager to join their team and manage a wide range of exciting SEO campaigns. Although our client is based in Chelmsford, this role is being offered on a remote basis.

This is a challenging role best suited to someone passionate and ambitious with a high level of analytical and development SEO experience.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 3 years SEO experience, gained from working for a professional digital marketing agency
  • Strong analytical capabilities and proven experience of providing clients with comprehensive SEO consultation and execution services
  • Expert knowledge of SEO strategies and best practices including technical, outreach and content marketing
  • Efficient in the use of CMS platforms including WordPress, Magento (1 & 2), Shopify, Django, Joomla, Wix, and custom platforms.
  • Experience using tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, and Google Lighthouse
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of organisation and diligence
  • Forward thinking and results driven, with a strong sense of ownership and eagerness to learn

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing, refining, and implementing the growth strategy for SEO as well as crafting bespoke campaigns for clients
  • Acting as the main point of contact for clients, whilst being hands on with strategising campaigns to reach clients goals, and implementing basic technical SEO with support from the development team
  • Ensuring clients are kept up to date on changes and progress within their campaign whilst dealing with any queries that arise
  • Ensuring a strong knowledge of client objectives and campaign results
  • Taking ownership of client SEO performance and proving ROI
  • Monitoring and understanding client markets and environments, whilst remaining up to date with latest trends and updates in the industry
  • Identify opportunities to improve performance in organic search results
