The Role:

We invite you to be a part of our dynamic start-up mentality team as a Senior Hedge Fund Analyst & Business Development Manager / Executive Search a role embedded with an entrepreneurial spirit, yet solidified with strategic and analytical depth in the financial markets. This role uniquely blends meticulous hedge fund analysis with strategic business development, fortified by an impactful understanding of various asset classes and financial markets. This is to also drive the team to create opportunities and work with a purpose.

Responsibilities:

Your multifaceted role will encompass:

  • Strategic Business Development: Fostering relations, identifying, and building upon new and existing investment management lines, while reinforcing our present portfolio.
  • Investor Relations & Client Interaction: Engaging with a broad spectrum of institutional clients and prospects globally, managing investment relations, and crafting partnership pitches.
  • Build and create a relationship with Traders, quants, and portfolio managers and select what strategies are right for the clients and markets
  • Quantitative Trading - Understanding areas of all asset classes and demonstrating analysis to clients and traders
  • Portfolio Managers/Traders/ Quants: Be able to communicate and Select and strategy search
  • Research & Analysis: In-depth research on companies, investment strategies, and funds, ensuring our approaches and alliances are ahead of market curves.
  • Team Management: Spearheading a compact team, infusing them with a global mindset, and driving KPIs to enhance our strategic and operational output.
  • Risk Management: Synchronizing with analysts and traders to comprehend market trends, and deploying qualitative and quantitative risk assessment strategies.
  • Marketing & Branding: Leading marketing initiatives, ensuring global brand visibility, and managing external and internal communication collateral.
  • Investment & Asset Management: Involving in hedge fund research, due diligence, and ensuring our strategies are synchronized with investor needs and market trends.
  • Client Management: Actively participating in client meetings, reviews, and aligning our strategies to support their business models and initiatives.

Your Profile:

  • Experience & Expertise: Prior work experience in financial markets, particularly in asset classes, hedge funds, and business development, matched with a foundational understanding of trading and quantitative strategies.
  • Leadership: Ability to steer a team towards achieving and exceeding KPIs, with a penchant for fostering a start-up mentality.
  • Communication: Adept at interfacing with a variety of stakeholders, from Fund Managers and CEOs to Investors, crafting, and defining actionable plans and objectives.
  • Networking: An extensive network within the industry, paired with a track record of managing the sales process to successful closure, and a knack for establishing critical relationships.
  • Analytical Acumen: Ability to delve deep into research, analyze market players, and intuitively grasp investment talent and opportunities.
  • Technical Know-How: Competency in using databases like Encore and ensuring data integrity.

Location: London or Paris

This is a permanent role, directly reporting to the CEO, offering you a spectrum to innovate, lead, and sculpt the trajectory of our endeavors at SR Investment Partners.
