Senior RF Approvals Engineer Skills:

• Proven RF product approvals and radio conformance test experience
• The RED (previously R&TTE) Directive
• CE Marking Directive
• Legal requirements in relation to Company D.O.Cs
• IP and Environmental certifications
• WEEE, RoHS and REACH Directives and certificates
• RF test measurement, use of network analysers, oscilloscopes etc
• Analysis of ATE results
• Knowledge of requirements for gaining FCC/IC approvals advantageous

Unique opportunity for a Senior RF Approvals Engineer to work in a broad role verifying and focusing on mandatory conformance and fit for purpose hardware product testing for a thriving business in the field of wireless communications. You should have proven experience in product approvals and conformance testing (RED, CE, WEEE, RoHS, REACH) ideally within the communications sector (although other sectors will be considered). As Senior RF Approvals Engineer, you will devise testing plans to ensure that product designs meet all the relevant requirements and that production continues to meet the original design intent. You will carry out conformance testing to relevant standards both on-site and at third party test houses; analyse ATE results and take responsibility for scoping new approvals processes and standards.
