As a Senior Research Associate you will:

  • Become an expert in your sector, working with a Senior Analyst who is a seasoned industry expert
  • Grow highly proficient at in-depth analysis of your industry, companies and stocks
  • Develop strong relationships across the investing community by daily interactions with our institutional clients and our specialist sales team
  • Author highly differentiated written research that is famous for its deep industry insights and quantitative frameworks, including our signature Autonomous Roadmap and Bernstein Blackbook products
  • Become adept at financial forecasting, including building highly detailed forward-looking models
  • Interact with senior management of companies in the European banks sector

Qualifications

Specific requirements include:

  • At least three years of experience covering the financial sector on an investment research or investment banking team
  • Ability to participate in one-on-one discussions with our institutional investor clients
  • Ability to structure and write company and industry research reports, under the supervision of the Senior Analyst

Our Senior Research Associates typically possess:

  • A 1st class or 2:1 undergraduate degree in an academic subject from a university that is widely recognised as being ranked within the top 10-20 global institutions in its field
  • Excellent broad-based analytical skills
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced financial modelling skills (may have credentials such as the CAA, CFA, ACA or CPA or may have worked in investment banking)
  • Relentless intellectual curiosity and a drive to excel at the highest level
