Job description

The role:

We are looking for an R&D Engineer to join a futuristic orientated working environment. Your opinion will matter and make difference to the function and outlook of the team you work in.

The products you will have a large part of being part of producing will make a direct impact a cleaner, safer environment. This will be a large part of the companies ethos and they are searching for people who really would like to use their skillset to improve their climate.

Responsibilities:

- To carry out mechanical based analysis

- Produce CAD drawings, documentation and reports

- To carry out electrical based design and development as required

- To carry out programming as required

- Design for manufacture

- To help design, build and run simple test rigs

- To support product development projects from inception through to production

About you:

- Natural problem solving skills

- Time management, organisation and the ability to work to deadlines

- Ability and desire to grasp new concepts and ideas

- Excellent communication skills

Your skills:

- Knowledge and understanding of refrigeration cycles

- Strong CAD skills, preferably with SolidWorks

-Knowledge of thermodynamics and electro-mechanical control systems

- Proficiency in microsoft office with excellent Excel skills

- Capable of reading and understanding technical drawings

- Capable of writing unbiased technical reports.
