Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor - Facades

Location: Gloucester

Salary: Competitive

Job Type: Full Time (40 hours) - Permanent

Ridgeway Facades are a successful, family owned company specialising in the design, manufacture and installation of glazed aluminium facades.

Due to an increased order book, Ridgeway are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join us and play a key role in the commercial team. The role will be split between the head office in Gloucester and sites, predominantly in the South East.

Main Role:

Control of the commercial element of contracts ranging in value from £100k to £4m.

The role will include the following duties -

  • Working collaboratively with Clients' Project Management teams, the contractor, and other suppliers engaged in delivering the projects
  • Preparing Bills of Quantities
  • Preparing cost plans and estimates
  • Assisting with writing contract documents
  • Assisting with the administration of contracts
  • Ensuring that budget management and reporting for the schemes are robust, complete and accurate
  • Assessment of compensation events

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate must be an enthusiastic team player, with an attention to detail.

Strong communication and organisational skills are essential to the role.
