Exciting Opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor (M and E) interested?

Are you a Senior Quantity Surveyor looking for a new role? An opportunity has been created for a Senior Quantity Surveyor with Healthcare experience. The office is located in Derby with the majority of the work commencing on the outskirts of Loughborough The company is a market leader and extremely reputable which means they can offer progression and commitment to their staff. 

Duties will include:

Responsible for delegating/allocating Quantity Surveying tasks to Quantity Surveyors, setting objectives and monitoring their progress.
Attends site meetings and contributing to the resolution of commercial, contractual and construction problems.
Managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of the project
Managing  the costs on the project
To ensure that the project is completed within its projected budget.
Liasing with Management and Directors 
Estimating quantities, costs and time scales for material and labour
Identifying and weighing up commercial risks.

Desired skills:

Experience in the Mechanical and Electrical sector as a Quantity Surveyor is essential 5 years PQE
Strong interpersonal skills are desired for the successful candidate

 Qualifications:

Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying is essential
Chartered or on route to MRICS is preferred
