Senior Quantity Surveyor- Flooring- Construction

Salary- £70,000-£80,000

Location- Woodford Green, London

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate estimates and cost plans for flooring projects.
  • Monitor project costs and budgets, providing regular updates to project stakeholders.
  • Conduct thorough cost analysis and value engineering to optimize project profitability.
  • Manage procurement processes, including tendering and contract negotiation.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide expert advice on cost-saving measures and risk management strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably within the flooring industry.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement processes, and cost management principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as Microsoft Excel and industry-specific quantity surveying tools.
