Job Role: Senior Quality Inspector
Location: Manchester
Shift: Days Only
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 Per Annum (DOE)

Metalis is working in partnership with a market leading supplier of bespoke prefabricated steel and mechanical products in Oldham who are looking to hire a Senior Quality Inspector on a permanent contract.

Job Duties:

• Leading and managing all aspects of quality assurance activities across the company
• Maintaining ISO9001 accreditations and standards
• Developing and implementing quality control processes and procedures to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and implement quality objectives and performance metrics
• Conducting regular internal and external audits to monitor product quality, identify non-conformities and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes, reduce defects, and improve overall operational efficiency
• Ensure compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, and quality management system requirements
• Develop and provide training to staff on internal quality processes, standards, and best practices
• Conducting site visits to ensure compliance

Job Requirements:

• Experience of managing ISO standards and conducting the necessary audits.
• A proven ability at developing and implementing quality control processes and procedures.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to make quick decisions
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• A proven continuous improvement mind set.
• Sound communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of the business

Salary & Shift:

• Day shift only
• Monday to Friday, 7am-4.30pm
• £45,000 - £55,000 Per Annum (DOE)
