Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting a Senior Quality Engineer for a leading manufacturing business based in Hull. The business manufacture high-quality, technical components to highly regulated markets and have customer satisfaction and innovation at the heart of everything they do making this a critical role for them.

The business are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer with strong knowledge of core problem solving tools and with proven experience withing a customer facing quality role ideally to OEMs. In addition, this role will support the NPI team and any previous experience supporting in delivery of new product projects is highly desirable. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day to day aspects of the QMS and requirements
  • Oversee and support the wider quality team below them in the departmental structure
  • Drive improvements / resolve issues highlighted by all audits / auditors
  • Represent the Quality Team on NPI projects and support
  • Oversee the approval of internal Work Instructions
  • Monitor and verify Internal NCR corrective actions and action as required
  • Lead & Manage on Customer Complaints to their conclusion

I'm keen to speak to experienced Quality Engineer's with the following skillset:

  • Extensive experience as a Quality Engineer withing highly regulated manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of core/problem solving tools - PPAP, FMEA, 8d etc
  • Good systems knowledge ISO9001 & ISO14001
  • Highly personable and able to supervise and direct a team when needed
