A leading healthcare solutions specialist are looking to expand their team to appoint a Project & Sales Specialist. This is an amazing opportunity to work for an established, forward-thinking company with over 25 years’ experience of providing healthcare solutions to Primary and Secondary Care. In this strategic role, you will focus on accelerating sales growth, nurturing customer relationships, and leading projects to deliver cutting-edge healthcare solutions.

The role:

  • Take charge of managing large projects from a sales perspective, liaising with the Sales Development Manager and customer Project Leads.
  • Identify any areas continuous improvement practices, discussing with Sales Development Manager/ head of Media and waiting room solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with the Projects Lead on complex enquiries, new build requirements, and large projects, managing processes, procedures, and workflows efficiently.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for sales advisors, providing expert advice and guidance on queries.
  • Maintain accurate records of large orders and call-off orders, liaising regularly with the Accounts Team for validation and reconciliation.
  • Coordinate multiple on-site surveys efficiently, keeping customers informed and ensuring optimal routes.
  • Generate quotations and sales orders as needed and serve as the sales point of contact for other teams.
  • Identify and capitalize on marketing opportunities and new sales prospects through outbound calls, e-shots, and exhibitions.
  • Keep sales team members updated on process changes and collaborate on areas for improvement.

The ideal candidate:

  • Experience of project management, preferably in a sales environment
  • Experience in a healthcare environment desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced role/environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and work on several projects at a time
  • Minimum 3 years in a high-level, multi-disciplinary administration role
  • A high degree of self-motivation and enthusiasm
  • Methodical, level-headed with a logical mind
  • Proficient in the use of IT, in particular CRM, Sage and Excel
