Job Title: Senior Project Quantity Surveyor

With a reputation for excellence and a commitment to delivering high-quality projects, we are currently embarking on a 15 million euro development project in Donegal.

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the successful execution of our upcoming development project, ensuring cost efficiency, accuracy, and compliance throughout all stages of the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage project budgets, cost estimates, and financial reports
• Conduct thorough cost analysis and risk assessments
• Manage procurement processes and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
• Monitor and control project costs, including variations and change orders
• Provide expert advice on cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions
• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project success
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and quality requirements
• Mentor and support junior members of the quantity surveying team

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in quantity surveying, with a strong track record of managing large-scale construction projects
• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
• Proven expertise in project cost management, budgeting, and procurement
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Proficiency in relevant software tools and technologies
