Senior Project Manager
My client is a World Leading Construction and Civil Engineering Company.
They are in the early stages of delivering a major highways project in Gloucester and are seeking reinforcements in the form of a Senior Project Manager.
In this role, you'll be responsible for supporting the senior leadership team in areas such as buildability, programme management, phasing, forecasting, and oversight of all structures works. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced project manager with a background in structures, seeking their next career move.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Project Manager, you'll implement safe systems of work for site activities, ensuring the highest standards of health, safety and welfare are maintained.
Your day to day will include:
- Provide support and reviews to tender strategies for the major projects including buildability reviews.
- Deliver the structures package to agreed programmes and liaise with operational delivery teams.
- Dealing with all projects related incidents and undertaking regular inspections and checks of working practices.
- Oversee the co-ordination of the projects structures team, subcontractors in a planned and controlled manner ensuring efficiency and minimising costs.
- Act as a point of contact, managing relationships with all local stakeholders and company communications and liaison teams.
Requirements
- HNC / Degree in a construction related subject matter
- Project Manager qualification
- Experience in a similar role within construction / highways
- CSCS card
- SMSTS
