A well-established architectural practice based in Cambridge, seeks to reinforce its Education team with a Senior Architect specialising in Higher Education projects. With a collaborative ethos, the firm emphasises resource sharing, knowledge exchange, and skill development across its core sectors of Education, Leisure, and Living.

The practice is in search of a Senior Architect with substantial experience, particularly in Higher Education projects, to enhance its Education team in Cambridge. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership prowess in project delivery, client management, and sustainable design practices.

Skills, Experience & Responsibilities for the role of Senior Project Architect:

  • Leading and executing projects within the Higher Education sector, ensuring adherence to quality, schedule, and budget.
  • Managing project teams efficiently, allocating resources as required.
  • Nurturing enduring client relationships throughout project lifecycles.
  • Advocating for sustainable design principles and prioritising environmental integrity in project outcomes.
  • Demonstrating effective communication skills across verbal, written, and presentation platforms.
  • Administering professional services and construction contracts proficiently.
  • Leveraging Revit expertise for seamless project execution.
  • Extensive experience in the UK construction sector.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in leading and delivering projects, with a focus on Higher Education.
  • Strong leadership acumen, with the ability to manage project teams and resource allocation effectively.
  • Exemplary client management capabilities.
  • Passion for sustainable design and environmental stewardship.
  • Exceptional communication skills in diverse mediums.
  • Proficiency in Revit.
  • Experience in managing fee proposals and supporting successful bid endeavours.
