Title: Senior Procurement Officer (12 month FTC)

Location: Torquay / Hybrid / Remote but must be able to travel to their site

Salary & Package: £36,648 - £40,221 + benefits

Sea Global are currently working with an exciting public sector organisation who are currently rescoping their department, with a real emphasis being on strategic, commercial procurement going forward.

The authority has recently received funding for several Capital Works programmes, and due to this have created a brand-new role to support these projects. The ideal candidate will have experience within construction subcategories such as consultants, contractors, developers etc.

The role will report directly into the Head of Commercial, who is really looking for someone to hit the ground running for day one! If this role sounds like it could be of interest, please read on for more details.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Report into the Head of Commercial
  • Commercial procurement management, contract, and supplier relationship management solutions
  • End to end procurement processes for contracts, including those that are high value, high risk and complex, to ensure successful delivery
  • Effective stakeholder management, both internal and external

Experience & Requirements

  • Ideally will be available for work on short notice
  • Should have experience working within a construction focussed procurement role
  • Will be comfortable leading end to end procurement
