Senior Private Client Solicitor

This locally esteemed firm is searching for an experienced solicitor to join their small team of Private Client experts, based in Worthing. As their newest Senior Private Client Solicitor, you will step in to manage a rich portfolio of clients who are loyal to this firm due to their gold standard of client care and communication.

This role has opened as a result of retirement planning, therefore there is an expectation that you will step into the role of Head of Department within the next year.

As their newest hire, you will play an instrumental role in sustaining the local reputation upheld by this small team. You'll receive one-to-one secretarial support and inherit an established, loyal client base without the pressure of unattainable targets. Plus, there's no expectation of bringing along a following as they have plenty of work ready for the taking.

Focusing on Estate Planning and Administration, your role will primarily include Will drafting and trust work on a day-to-day basis, with the occasional higher-value estate requiring coordination with local accountants. You will also provide guidance to junior members of staff, particularly as you step into the role of Department Head.

• At least 5 years of experience as a Solicitor, Lawyer or Legal Executive (CILEx),
• A STEP qualification, or be on track to do so shortly,
• Strong interpersonal skills to develop the firm's existing client base.
