Job Description:

As a Children's Advanced Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in our team, working alongside social workers, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to assess, plan, and deliver effective services to children and families in need. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify children and families' needs and risks.
  • Developing and implementing care plans, interventions, and support services.
  • Providing expert guidance and support to social workers and other team members.
  • Collaborating with multi-agency partners to promote positive outcomes for children.
  • Leading complex cases and chairing meetings, including Child Protection Conferences.
  • Keeping accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and interventions.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • A recognised qualification in social work and registration with Social Work England.
  • Extensive experience as a Children's Advanced Practitioner in a similar setting.
  • Strong knowledge of child protection legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Excellent assessment and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex cases.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development.
