Job Vacancy: Senior Practitioner - Children Looked After

Location: Bases in Hertford, Stevenage & Apsley
Salary Range: £46,464 - £50,512 per annum, with a one-off £1k Welcome Payment
Hours: 37 per week
Contract: Permanent

As a Senior Practitioner, you will have the opportunity to build strong relationships with children, young people, and families, while collaborating with essential services such as mental health, education, and law enforcement. Our approach prioritizes collaboration, consistency, capacity, and compassion, ensuring that every individual receives the support they need to thrive.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex and diverse caseloads with compassion and professionalism.
  • Establish and maintain effective partnerships with stakeholders to support positive outcomes.
  • Contribute to care planning, assessments, and reviews with precision and empathy.
  • Uphold rigorous safeguarding measures while respecting the wishes and needs of young people and their families.

Requirements:

  • Qualified and registered social worker with extensive frontline experience.
  • Proficient in researching and implementing innovative social work practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Sound decision-making abilities with a focus on holistic support and safeguarding.
