We are seeking a dynamic and driven PR Account Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about communication, media relations, and public relations strategies. As a PR Account Executive, you will collaborate closely with clients, media, and internal teams to develop and execute strategic PR campaigns that elevate our clients' brands, drive engagement, and achieve desired outcomes. Key Responsibilities:

Client Management:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building strong relationships, and understanding their unique needs, goals, and objectives.
    • Regularly communicate with clients to provide updates on PR activities, campaign progress, and results.
    • Collaborate with clients to develop PR strategies aligned with their overall business objectives.

Media Relations:

    • Cultivate and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, bloggers, and influencers across relevant industries and media outlets.
    • Pitch compelling stories, press releases, and content ideas to secure media coverage in print, broadcast, and digital platforms.
    • Monitor media coverage and industry trends, providing insights and recommendations to clients and internal teams.

Content Creation:

    • Develop high-quality written content, including press releases, media pitches, articles, blog posts, and social media content.
    • Ensure all content is aligned with clients' brand messaging, voice, and tone, while also meeting journalistic standards and industry best practices.

Campaign Execution:

    • Plan, coordinate, and execute PR campaigns and initiatives, leveraging a mix of traditional and digital PR tactics to maximise reach and impact.
    • Coordinate media interviews, press events, product launches, and other promotional activities as needed.
    • Monitor and analyse campaign performance metrics, providing regular reports and recommendations for optimisation.

Team Collaboration:

    • Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, social media, creative, and account management, to ensure integrated and cohesive PR strategies.
    • Provide support and assistance to colleagues as needed, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in public relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in public relations, media relations, or related roles.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear and compelling messages tailored to different audiences.
  • Proven track record of successfully securing media coverage and building relationships with journalists and influencers.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for staying abreast of industry trends and emerging PR techniques.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and PR software/tools (e.g., Cision, Meltwater, Hootsuite) is preferred.
  • Experience working with clients in various industries, such as technology, consumer goods, health care, Professional services, or nonprofit sectors, is a plus.
