My client is a Leading Construction and Civil Engineering Contractor with an annual turnover approaching £1 Billion in the UK.

They are delivering a major infrastructure project near Cannock in the West Midlands and require a Senior Planner to supplement the project team from June 2024.

The project comprises earthworks, infrastructure, roads, drainage, structures.

The successful applicant will be a proficient Asta Powerproject user and will have a strong academic record with a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or another relevant subject matter.

A solid background in Civil Engineering projects is essential.

Key Skills / Qualifications

  • Educated to at least HNC/HND level in a relevant construction related subject matter
  • A strong working knowledge of Asta Powerproject is essential
  • Demonstrable experience in leadership, resource allocation and general management
  • Experience in risk identification and assessment
  • Detailed knowledge and experience of managing and maintaining a works programme

Practical Experience

  • Solid project experience in the Civil Engineering industry
  • Experience in developing large, multimillion pound programmes
  • Excellent communication, influencing and relationship building skills
  • Project and Programme management knowledge
  • Problem Solving
