Senior Physiotherapist
We are seeking an exceptional, dynamic, and innovative Physiotherapist to join our team and contribute to an effective service that meets the needs of our clients. This role involves working with musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, and sports injury conditions, providing a high standard of physiotherapy service to patients.
Day to Day of the role:
- Perform evidence-based physiotherapy assessments and treatments of patients.
- Utilise clinical reasoning skills to provide an accurate clinical diagnosis/impression.
- Refer patients competently to other medical/healthcare professionals as needed.
- Develop and implement individualised treatment programmes based on evidence-based practice and clinical reasoning.
- Communicate effectively with patients to ensure informed consent and maximise rehabilitation potential.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based practice in musculoskeletal and sports injury areas.
- Monitor quality in line with national and local standards.
- Collaborate with centre personnel and external medical personnel from other agencies/units.
- Participate in musculoskeletal clinics, developing treatment recommendations and outcome evaluations.
- Support research initiatives to develop the centre’s evidence-based practice.
- Manage and prioritise a clinical caseload efficiently and effectively.
- Provide clinical reports with prognoses and comprehensive discharge planning.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Membership with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (MCSP).
- Registration with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
