My client a wonderful business is recruiting a SENIOR PENSIONS & INVESTMENT MANAGER.

This is an experienced Senior Manager - expert in Pensions & Investments to join a Wealth Management company. As a key member of Senior team, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day administration of client accounts, managing a team of professionals, addressing complex issues that may arise. 

This role is linked to a HIGH salary based on HUGELY STRONG PENSIONS & INVESTMENT SKILLS in a strong business linked across the UK.

Strong Responsibilities required:-

  • Provide efficient & consistent administration service to scheme members via the Team
  • Ensuring high & accurate standards of work at all times by the Team
  • Develop positive communication & working relationships with both clients & internal Advisers
  • Identify & resolve problems that may arise with work issues in the Department
  • Responsible for running of the Department & work produced, with liaison with Business Administration members in respect of policy document issues & processing of business applications
  • Operating under strict regulatory & legislative regulations & follow internal procedures & systems
  • Assist development & maintenance of effective systems & processes in the Company
  • Support process regular & contributions within Imago database  generate & process monthly tax& reclaims
  • Support  annual allowance statements for clients
  • Set reminders for & run regular GAD calculations
  • Ensure accurate initial checking of all applications to confirm
  • Support preparation of SIPP review sheet & drawdown review illustration when requested by Advisers 
  • Check processing in accuracy
  • Ensure accurate records, updates & responses to client queries, whether via telephone, email or in writing, are actioned in the Team
  • Liaise with clients & 3rd party companies by phone & writing
  • Management of pensioner payrolls, increases  & ensure annual notification of the lifetime allowance used is notified to pensioners in timely manner
  • Provide support & expertise in delivering client requests
  • Recognise potential instances of fraud & money laundering &, where agreed, report these instances to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer
  • Monitor changes in legislation with particular relevance to Company linked to SIPP
  • In conjunction with Head of Compliance CISL, ensure ongoing regulatory report requirements met
  • Conduct regular reviews of SIPP data, identify issues, implement activities in consultation with Head of Compliance CISL
  • Assist Compliance Officer in identifying, investigating & rectifying rules linked to the Company SIPP, & assist  fulfilling report requirements
  • Ensure the creation, implementation & development of internal systems, in order to meet regular obligations, & improve & efficient working
  • Responsible overseeing the Companies Group SIPP, liaising with Team if necessary
  • Maintain procedures manual for the Group SIPP to ensure they are up to date
  • Ensure confidentiality of all work undertaken
  • Ensure procedures relevant in requirements
  • Ensure Team is checked to high standard to stop errors
  • Production of management Information on an annual basis
  • Co-ordinate & plan projects for Team
  • Improve efficiency across the team & the rest of the business & implement accordingly
  • Main contact for third party SIPP system provider & maintain reviews of outstanding issues monitored & tested to completion
  • Complete meetings & annual appraisals for the Team
  • Attend Management meetings
