Full Time Contract ( 6 months long)

Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Senior Payments Officer based in Rugby. This is a contract without a scope for extension working full time hours.

The job:

• Collate and process data, ensuring accurate payments to suppliers and benefit claimants.
• Oversee cashiering functions and assist with car loan and salary sacrifice schemes.
• Collate data for performance reports and contribute to procurement activities.
• Register and process invoices using our financial management system.
• Generate payments and maintain supplier records, including submissions to HMRC

The candidate:

• Ability to handle numeric data: Calculating, recording, assessing, and providing information from data.
• Familiarity with Local Government financial environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Experience in Agresso Unit 4 Finance system preferred.
• Basic financial knowledge equivalent to BTEC in Finance or relevant A Levels.
