With an award-winning portfolio in the FMCG industry, this company is looking to grow out its design team - so they're now on the hunt for a talented Senior Packaging Designer to join their in-house team of specialists.

They are a leading agency renowned for its creativity and strategic approach. This is an amazing opportunity to join a vibrant and knowledgeable team working with an impressive range of global names!

You'll have extensive experience from within a similar position, preferably in the FMCG sector, and significant exposure to branding, packaging, and print. You will be a conceptual designer with a great eye for typography and a thorough understanding of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.

This role requires you to work from the Leeds-based office 3 times per week. This means you will need to live and have the right to work in the UK.

Key Requirements:

• Confidently present design concepts to clients with clarity, ensuring understanding and alignment.
• Previous agency experience is essential, demonstrating the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• The ability to exhibit strong skills in typography and typesetting, enhancing the visual impact of designs.
• Strong understanding of print production processes, packaging materials, and POS terminology
• Experience working with global clients, understanding cultural nuances and market distinctions.
• Exposure to translating client brand vision and requirements into compelling design concepts.
• Proven experience working as a Senior Designer in a creative agency or design studio.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design tools.
• A very strong and high-quality portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects, with a focus on packaging.

Responsibilities:

• Take charge of project design processes, ensuring that creativity seamlessly meets client objectives.
• You will play a key role in conceptualising and executing design projects for their clients.
• You will collaborate closely with their creative team to develop compelling visual solutions that effectively communicate clients' brand stories and resonate with their target audience.
• From initial concept development to final production, you will have the opportunity to contribute your ideas and expertise to projects of varying scales and complexities.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions, contributing fresh ideas and creative insights to support project development and marketing strategies.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design tools, and software to continuously improve your skills and bring innovative design solutions to the team.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality design assets while meeting deadlines.
