Job Description for Senior Oversight Assistant:

In this role, you'll play a vital part in overseeing third-party appointments in accordance with a comprehensive checking dashboard. Your responsibilities will involve monitoring outputs against service level agreements, challenging findings, and ensuring the delivery of excellent customer outcomes.

Responsibilities for the Senior Oversight Assistant include:

  • Managing day-to-day operational queries, issues, and incidents.
  • Conducting root cause analysis and monitoring remedial actions.
  • Providing operational support to the Oversight team and covering when necessary.
  • Completing select tasks outlined on the oversight dashboard, such as reviewing debtors and creditors within the fund, ensuring timely payments, and improving processes to reduce late payments.
  • Assisting investors with queries, overseeing their onboarding journey, and supporting compliance with AML and financial crime checks.

The Ideal Candidate for the Senior Oversight Assistant:

They're looking for a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented individual who excels in a team environment and remains composed under pressure. Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities are essential, along with experience in addressing direct investor/customer service queries and ensuring good customer outcomes.

You should have a good understanding of working within a regulated environment, ideally within an Authorised Fund Manager, and experience working with third-party administrators. Knowledge of AML regulations and involvement with Consumer Duty would be advantageous.

Experience with TA-based systems (such as AWD, Fast, Citrix) would be desirable, and a willingness to undertake continuous professional development, including industry qualifications, is necessary.
