Senior Non-Contentious Construction Associate

We are looking for a Contracts and Projects Construction Senior Associate (circa 7+ years PQE), to join this leading law firm based in their London office.

The market leading team has an extensive portfolio of work and has advised on some of the biggest and most challenging and innovative projects across the globe.

About the Role

• Many of the clients’ projects are based in the Middle East and Africa, with these regions seeing rapid growth and providing excellent opportunities.
• The team advise construction professionals, contractors, employers, operators, investors and their insurers, across a wide range of industry sectors, providing all aspects of project advice.
• The firm are looking for experience of advising on procurement routes, engineering and construction documentation (including consultants’ appointments, building contracts, collateral warranties, third party rights and security documentation), joint venture agreements, PFI and PPP documentation, alliance agreements etc.

About You

• The role would suit those with in house and/or private experience.
• Experience of advising on projects internationally, including in the Middle East and Africa is preferred but is not essential.
• The ability to delegate, supervise more junior members of the team and be able to demonstrate involvement in business development activities are all important qualities in the successful candidate.
