Senior Neighbourhood Officer, Slough
Temp, 3 month contract (potential for extension)
Full time, 37 hours, 9-17:30

Our client is looking for an experienced Neighbourhood Officer to start immediately. As a Senior Neighbourhood Officer, you'll be expected to deliver excellent housing management services to their customers to the highest possible standards, ensuring that operational performance is high and continues to improve and to ensure neighbourhood services for a defined group of homes meet resident's expectations and that residents have opportunities to influence service delivery. Please note, a valid drivers licence and access to own vehicle is essential, as is a Basic DBS.

Main responsibilities

  • Estate Management
  • New tenant visits and tenancy sign up
  • Tenancy verification & fraud prevention
  • Requesting responsive maintenance
  • Addressing anti-social behaviour


Essential Requirements

  • Significant experience of working in housing related role.
  • Experience of managing and prioritising own workload and ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Awareness of legislation, policy and best practice relating to housing management, rent arrears management and anti-social behaviour.
  • Knowledge of legal enforcement proceedings via the County Court.
  • Practical application of Health and Safety, and Equal Opportunity Policies.
  • Basic DBS
  • A level qualification.
  • Certificate in Housing (Level 3) or equivalent.
  • Must have a valid drivers licence and have access to own means of transport
