Client Details

Our client is a well-established retail company with over 100 stores across the UK and a strong online presence. They have a strong presence in the market and are recognised for their quality products and exemplary customer service.

Description

  • Lead a team of junior merchandisers to achieve sales targets.
  • Analyse sales data and market trends to develop effective merchandising strategies.
  • Work closely with the buying team to optimise stock levels and product range.
  • Coordinate with marketing team for promotional activities and product launches.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts and performance reports to senior management.
  • Ensure visual merchandising standards are consistently maintained across all stores.
  • Train and mentor junior staff to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Regularly visit stores to monitor performance and gather feedback.

Profile

A successful Senior Merchandiser should have:

  • Commutable distance to the office in Birmingham is necessary.
  • A degree in Retail Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a senior merchandising role within the retail fashion sector, ideally womenswear.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a strong commercial acumen.
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
