The role is to provide support and technical expertise to a wide range of manufacturing automation and control systems within pharmaceutical facilities.

The successful candidate will possess BEng in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering or related,

The Senior Manufacturing Engineering will have 5-10 years’ experience of automation process control systems with particular reference to control system based on the Allen-Bradley Control Logix PLC.

The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for maintenance of machinery in the production line, trouble shooting and have a good track record of managing wide-range of activities.

Skills and knowledge

Wonderware System Platform SCADA and Allen-Bradley PLC, hands on experience with Windows Servers hardware and Microsoft Windows applications.

Process controls equipment including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, SQL relational database systems and networking including design and debugging skills. Also, their connections to production equipment, instrumentation, and manufacturing systems, loop controllers, HVAC controls, and related electrical/electronic equipment and devices.

Skills: GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, Project management,

bioreactors, chromatography, flow filtration systems,

familiar with AutoCAD. Experience of regulatory guidelines, Validation & COSHH principles
