The our London Finance team are looking for an experienced and ambitious Manager (or above) to run one of our key desks facing the Public Sector in Central London. Your desk will have a number of established clients, built up over a number of years, as well as the opportunity to build new client relationships in one of the busiest markets in the UK. We are looking for someone who can have immediate impact and credibility to ensure current relationships are maintained and new client relationships are developed in one of Hays most established specialisms. The role can offer immediate management responsibility - offering the opportunity to lead established recruiters and people at earlier stages of their career across. Ebury Gate is the key hub for our public services finance business and we work collaboratively with a network of consultants around the UK and Ireland. Finance is Hays' second largest specialism in the UK and continues to develop and grow, allowing significant opportunity. The job profiles that we cover are incredibly diverse - we can be looking at relatively standard financial accounting or management reporting opportunities but it doesn't end there. More specialist roles would be in areas such as financial planning, treasury, risk, audit and tax. Working in the public services area is totally unique - we are working with organisations with a budget of a few million to multi-billion budgets and our roles are often suited to candidates who are or want to make a positive difference to society.Why should you consider this opportunity?

The senior finance function plays a key role in all public sector organisations, and therefore you can build critical strategic relationships which can result in lucrative contracts, PSL's and Hays Exclusive agreements for London North & Ebury region.
