As part of continuing business growth, a Senior Manager / Senior Management Accountant, is required to join the rapidly-growing Practice Outsourcing division of one of the region's most successful accountancy firms.

Whilst the successful Practice Outsourcing Senior Manager will be based in the Oxford Office, and will be able to work from home up to 2 days a week, there is an element of travel involved to various locations across the south of England.

The Role

The Practice Outsourcing Senior Manager will take ownership of a portfolio of clients across a variety of sectors who have outsourced some or all of their accounting function to my client.  As the primary day-to-day contact for your allocated portfolio of clients, the Practice Outsourcing Senior Manager will liaise with various teams internally across payroll, tax and data processing to ensure the delivery of all services across General Ledger, VAT, financial and statutory reporting, etc., whilst engaging and partnering with your clients’ businesses, understanding their needs and identifying new opportunities.

What experience does the Practice Outsourcing Senior Manager need?

• A strong background in Accounting - experience within a Practice Outsourcing team preferred
• Solid experience across General Ledger, VAT, Financial Reporting, etc
• Experience with a variety of accounting software packages such as Xero, Sage and CCH
• Knowledge of UKGAAP and ideally IFRS
