Senior Management Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day financial transactions of the group
• Assist with monthly preparation and analysis of management accounts
• Management of purchase ledger function and review aged creditors
• Maintain the fixed asset register including monthly depreciation
  calculations
• Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Management for petty cash for the group including onsite audits
• Work with external auditors during the annual audit
• Maintenance of cash flow forecasting by company
• Liaise with external stakeholders including banks, auditors and companies house
• Ad hoc financial analysis and reporting
• Ability to develop the role and improve analysis, reporting and financial support and training to internal customers

Skills and experience required:

• Part-Qualified or Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a Management Accountant
• Previous experience preparing management accounts to a high standard
• Ability to oversee the daily financial transactions for the group of companies
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Excellent communication skills
• Positive nature
