Senior Management Accountant | High Growth SaaS Scaleup | London (Remote or Hybrid)

Harmonic are delighted to partner with a high growth SaaS scale-up in their search for a Senior Management Accountant to join their UK team.

The business operates in the B2B SaaS & app development space, offering a data-driven software platform that supports some of the best known global brands to make more informed business decisions. With an annual growth rate of 20% and the backing from private equity investors, our ideal candidate will thrive in fast-paced business environments and will have the opportunity to progress their career quickly in an internationally scaling business.

Based in North London with a very flexible hybrid working model, you'll have full autonomy over how many days per week you work in the office including flexible working hours to suit you. Other benefits including unlimited annual leave, company-wide performance bonus and share options.

The Role:

As Senior Management Accountant reporting into the Financial Controller, you'll play a key role in supporting the businesses scaling plans. In this varied role, you'll have direct line management of two management accountants and will have oversight of month end close, group consolidation and cash management

Responsibilities:

  • Produce accurate and detailed monthly management accounts, incorporating variance analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
  • Collaborate closely to review and submit multi-currency financial results, providing strategic financial insights and recommendations
  • Continuously enhance finance processes for better efficiency and precision.
  • Manage cash and treasury operations, including forecasting, daily management of working capital, and bank reporting.
  • Collaborate with various departments and senior leaders to assess financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
  • Supervise VAT returns, statutory filings, and US sales tax compliance for accurate financial reporting.
  • Assist in preparing year-end financial statements, coordinating both group and local audits.
  • Lead or participate in special projects to support organizational growth.
  • Develop and document business procedures and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls.
  • Foster a proactive and results-oriented culture within the team.

What we need to see (Essential):

  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA or ACA)
  • Experience working in a high-growth, rapidly scaling environment
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with colleagues across the business.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Commercially astute, with a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of the finance function

What we'd like to see (bonus):

  • Experience reporting under IFRS or US GAAP
  • Experience in SaaS or Tech industry with an understanding of key KPI's and revenue models.
  • Experience with Netsuite

Salary: £60- £70,000 + strong benefits package

Location: North London (Hybrid/Remote)
