Job Duties: 
  • Month end postings
  • Journal postings
  • Ensuring accurate recording of assets
  • Preaparing reports and providing insights into senior management
  • Fixed Asset Register maintenance
  • Calculating asset depreciation
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Building new processes and assisting with building out the system around the fixed asset register
Required Qualifications:

The ideal candidate must possess a professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, ACA, or CIMA. They should have a strong understanding of fixed asset accounting principles and experience in managing fixed assets in a corporate setting.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in management accounting, with a focus on fixed assets. Previous experience in a senior accounting role is preferred.

Knowledge and Skills:

Thorough knowledge of fixed asset accounting standards and regulations. Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting. Advanced Excel skills. Excellent communication and analytical abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Postgraduate qualification in Finance or Accounting. Experience with asset management software.

Working Conditions:

Normal office hours, Monday to Friday.
