Job Duties:- Month end postings
- Journal postings
- Ensuring accurate recording of assets
- Preaparing reports and providing insights into senior management
- Fixed Asset Register maintenance
- Calculating asset depreciation
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Building new processes and assisting with building out the system around the fixed asset register
The ideal candidate must possess a professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, ACA, or CIMA. They should have a strong understanding of fixed asset accounting principles and experience in managing fixed assets in a corporate setting.
Experience:Minimum of 5 years of experience in management accounting, with a focus on fixed assets. Previous experience in a senior accounting role is preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:Thorough knowledge of fixed asset accounting standards and regulations. Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting. Advanced Excel skills. Excellent communication and analytical abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:Postgraduate qualification in Finance or Accounting. Experience with asset management software.
Working Conditions:Normal office hours, Monday to Friday.
